Words from the President

With the theme of "Print your Future", IGAS 2011 took place over six days from 16th to 21st in September 2011 at Tokyo Big Sight.

Reflecting the East Japan Great Earthquake, the number of exhibitors has decreased by 40 % to 327 companies (overseas 32 companies), compared with the previous event in 2007. In the mean time, despite the bad weather of the last day, the show ended with the total visitors of 73,554, including 5,825 overseas visitors.

A large number of attendee enthusiastically and favorably took part in the special lectures, seminars, international forums and symposia. Also, there were a lot of visitors to "the East Japan Great Earthquake Press Photo Gallery". The Global Print Tokyo Meeting (a confederation of printing machinery manufacturers associations in countries in the world) was held on the second day of IGAS2011, September 19.

IGAS2011 has closed successfully. I do appreciate your great support and cooperation.

Japan Graphic Arts Suppliers Committee will organize JGAS 2013 for 4 days from October 2nd (Wed.) to 5th (Sat.), 2013 at Tokyo Big Sight.

We are looking forward to seeing you again at JGAS 2013 in Tokyo.
